Kacsa started out as an idea – to create a Tokaj wine that is light yet full-bodied. A Furmint that doesn't take itself too seriously, but still shows where it comes from. Several vintages have passed since then, and what we only sensed back then, we now know for sure: this wine is exactly where it belongs. A blend of several Mád vineyards, made using reductive methods. The style is lean, fruity and mineral, with clean proportions. On the palate, crisp apple, citrus, a hint of white peach and a slight salty-chalky character that delicately highlights the nature of Furmint. The 2024 vintage has everything you could love about this variety.
