Nyulászó is the southern gateway to the Mádi basin: thick soil, powerful. István Balassa produces one of his most characteristic, densest Furmints here, which combines his characteristic "German" precision with the vibrant minerality of the Tokaj soils. The 2024 Nyulászó is fruity, floral, and lively. It has fewer mature notes, but all the more freshness. The palate is long, rolling, yet taut and clean. An iconic Balassa wine.
