Crisp, fresh and elegant, our Chandon Brut is the signature expression of our high altitude vineyards, located in Mendoza, along the foothills of the Andes Mountain Range. The finest Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes come from our El Yaima and Caicayén estates (Uco Valley), located between 1000 and 1200 meters above sea level. With their sandy-loam to silty soils and a marked presence of limestone, they allow us to create a fresh, fruity, elegant, creamy, and balanced sparkling wine.
The Andes mountain range acts as a barrier against the humid winds from the Pacific Ocean, making Mendoza a high-altitude desert with a continental climate. The climatic conditions of these terroirs and the significant thermal amplitude allow the grapes to ripen slowly while preserving all their natural acidity.
