The wine is sourced from a vineyard 300 metres above sea level, planted around the castle on a pure Kimmeridgian limestone bedrock, surrounded by a centuries-old wall.
It is matured for 18 months in demi-muid, then for a year in barrel and 6 months in bottle. It has a strong minerality and complexity.
