The winery's second wine is named after the vineyard on the hilltop near the castle. Compared to the first wine, it is more Merlot-dominated, but still Cabernet Sauvignon-dominated, with only a small proportion of Cabernet Franc. It was aged for a year and a half in barrels, 10% of which were new. Cherry, cherry, subtle forest floor notes, ripe plum and vanilla. Nice structure, with refreshing acidity balanced with silky tannins and a long finish.
