Gorgeous nose of violets and lavender. From the nose to the palate, this is a complete wine with all the elements in balance. The palate is refined, with rounded, seamless texture and an elegant body. There is plenty of flavour here but with little weight and no heaviness. A beautifully composed Cabernet blend. Fairly long finish. A wine with a long potential to age. My top wine in a blind tasting flight of 27 top Cabernets from 2008. This wine was tasted blind alongside 24 other top Cabernet-based reds from around the world.
