Chateau Lafite Rothschild is one of the five Grand Cru Classé estates. It is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, depending on the vintage, but always with a Cabernet Sauvignon predominance, which gives the house its unique style. The bottling is preceded by oak barrel ageing, also depending on the vintage, for a minimum of 18 months, exclusively in new wooden barrels produced in the estate's own barrel-making plant. A harmonious, elegant and complex wine with a seemingly endless finish. Its tannic structure is firm and evolves over the years. Long ageing for decades. It is worth waiting up to 5-10 years before opening.
