Dark ruby-red, is not opaque. Ripe fruit on the nose is quite closed & is overlaid by oak aromas. The dark, red-fruit on the palate is very concentrated. Tannins are ripe & rounded, but still have some grip. Alcohol is restrained. Redcurrant & cassis fruit overpowers the structure at the finish, which is quite short but combines both grip & fruit ripeness well.
