The Matton-Farnet family's 85-year-old estate in St Tropez was one of 23 estates allowed to produce Côtes de Provence rosé according to the 1955 French classification. The modern era and rise of the estate actually began in 1990, when Jean-Etienne and Francois Matton took over and began developing Chateau Minuty. They renovated the vineyards, refreshed the plantations and replaced the Carignan and Ugni blanc grapes with Grenache and Rolle. They have also modernised the winery with the latest machinery and, through careful marketing, have made the Minuty brand known not only in the region and in France but throughout the world. In 2012, the estate was renovated with the help of renowned architects and designers, and a tasting cellar, a second ageing cellar, a meeting room and a tasting room were added to the infrastructure to serve visitors with the highest quality. The Chateau Minuty "M" Rosé 2021 is a fresh and elegant rosé with bright cherry and ashy peach notes.
