Don't be fooled by the name "Petit" - it's one of the most serious bottles in the wine world. Traditionally fermented and matured in oak barrels. The grapes come from the same exceptional area as its big brother, but from younger vines. The wine is juicy, powerful and full-bodied, with ripe tannins, good acidity, very nice barrel use, lots of black berry fruit, subtle smoky notes and sweet spices.
