Quite deep crimson because the skin ripeness was so great in 2013 – not that they have started to extract more. Very pure and directed – intense for a village wine but with great energy and very ripe fruit. Lively leathery finish. Unusually ripe fruit. Very long. A very distinctive village wine! Amazing to think that this is only 12.4%. Massive impact.
