In the eastern part of the Sancerre region, we find the Les Romains vineyard, where Domaine Vacheron's vines are over 60 years old. The characteristics of the area are very similar to Pouilly-Fumé, so the Sauvignon Blanc harvested here produces a slightly salty and refreshingly citrusy wine, which is made spicy by the presence of flint. It is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels to achieve full complexity.
