An icon of the Colchagua Valley. Every year, Montes Alpha M is a remarkable testament to what Chile is capable of when terroir and ambition come together. 2020 was not an easy year: drought and heat pushed the limits, but at Montes, they were able to use these very conditions to shape character. Yields were low, but the concentration was exceptional. Cabernet Sauvignon is the base, alongside Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot—the blend ratios are rethought every year, but the balance between elegance and power always remains the same. Deep, dark aromas—blackcurrant, blackberry, cedar, vanilla, and graphite. Dense texture on the palate, finely grained tannins, long, cool finish.
