The legendary Úrágya vineyard is located in the western part of Mád, where the Szepsy family harvests grapes from nearly 65-year-old vines on a 1.24-hectare plot (parcel 3663). The grapes, grown on compact, red clay, quartz-rich rhyolite tuff soil, ferment spontaneously with their own yeast from previous harvests. Maturation took place in 300-liter first- and second-fill barrels for 9 months. A lively, sparkling and dry Furmint from its place of origin. Deep stone, mineral aroma, lively acidity, bony mouthfeel and a long, long finish.
