Sexy Beast is a truly luscious McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine was named after the 2000 British crime film Sexy Beast, for which one of the leading actors, Ben Kingsley, received an Oscar nomination. It is a deep red wine with aromas of cherry and red currant mixed with classic Cabernet notes of pepper and green pepper, complemented by tobacco, wild herbs, and intense smoky aromas in the background. Slightly above medium-bodied, the classic style of McLaren Vale wines is evident on the palate, with the characteristic notes of the Cabernet variety. Aging - 10% in new Taransaud French oak barrels, the rest in 1-7 year old French oak barrels.
