Ornellaia Bolgheri Le Serre Nuove is a prestigious Italian red wine produced by the famous Tenuta dell'Ornellaia winery in the Bolgheri region of Tuscany. This winery is known for producing the most sought-after and highest-rated Super Tuscan wines. The 2020 vintage follows in the footsteps of its predecessors and is known for its exceptional quality and characteristics: 28% Cabernet Sauvignon, 54% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Franc, and 4% Petit Verdot are the main components of the blend.After hand harvesting, fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 26-30°C for approximately two weeks, followed by nearly 15 days of maceration on the skins. Fermentation was followed by 15 months of barrel aging (25% new and 75% once used) and nearly 6 months of bottle aging.
