The rocky hillside of Percze is one of the most exciting vineyards in Mád, and according to the 1730 classification, it is the smallest vineyard in the wine region. Hand-harvested from volcanic soil, it was fermented in furmin barrels and inoculated with yeast from the harvest a few weeks earlier. After gravitational settling, it was aged for 7 months in second-fill 300-liter Kádár barrels, then bottled after minimal filtration. Many years of experience have shown that the finely porous structure and elegant spices of barrels made exclusively from stave-free oak are a perfect match for the taut structure of Mád wines. A round and balanced sip with lively acids, salty-mineral layers and a fiery character. The fruity line evokes apples, ripe apricots, and sometimes pineapple. The minimal residual sugar ensures long aging potential.
